Power Systems and Sleep Systems Behaving Strangely

2010-11-11, 16:32 PM

When I put my U330 to sleep and wake it back up it often appears to have rebooted. It will require me to log in again and all the programs I was working on before will be closed. Why does this happen?

Also, I have set the power settings so that when I close the lid without putting the computer to sleep, it will automatically go to sleep. But this frequently doesn't work, and it runs out of batteries while closed. Again, any idea why? What should I do?

Alex

re-install power management software, then disable legacy usb support in the bios if there's an option.

download power management from the link below for your operation system

( to lear which operation system you have : right click my computer > properties )

for bios update, read this file first for how to, then download and install this.

Hi, I installed the new bios and the problem is continuing. Below is the latest error message I got when I woke the computer up from sleep and saw that it had restarted. Can you tell me what I should do about this? Should I reinstall te power systems, and if so can you give me specific instructions for doing so?
thanks,

I zipped it and put on rapid share but cannot figure out how to make a publicly available link. What should I do next?
