Hi ,

Welcome to Community Forums!

Sorry to hear that your having issues with your device.

Let me try to help out.

You can try to reinstal the Wifi and Bluetooth driver:

  • Open Device Manager
  • Expand Network Adapter
  • Right click on either Intel or Realtek Wifi driver (Make sure that the " Delete this device" popup box has a check mark then uninstall or hit Ok)
  • Restart the machine

Do the same steps for Bluetooth driver.

Give us an update on how it goes.

Regards

Malvin_Lenovo

Hi ,

Thanks for replying.

If reinstalling the Wifi and Bluetooth drivers didn't work, you have 2 other options.

1st option is to download the WLAN Driver for Intel v18.11.0  and the  Bluetooth Driver  Intel v17.1.152 on a USB flash drive using a different computer, since you can't connect to the internet and the laptop doesn't have an ethernet port.

If installing the driver won't work, 2nd option is to perform a System Restore or Factory Reset: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht071861.

Make sure that you back-up files before you proceed.

Update us on how it goes.

Regards

Hi ,

Thanks for replying.

You can refer to the Support Site to download the Wifi and Bluetooth drivers: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-u-series-laptops/ideapad-u430-touch-notebook/downloads/driver-list.

Just type in the serial number then search, Go to Drivers and Software > Manual Update. Look for Networking: Wireless LAN and Bluetooth.
