It's very nice of you for taking time to read through correspondences, and offer your assistance.

 

Last Friday, 5 Feb, after the phone call from Lenovo Call Centre (routed from Malaysia), I demanded an email of their findings and decision for not extending warranty replacement to the hinge-cap. To date, not a single email from Lenovo Call Centre. I can't see their reservation for not issuing a written statement.

 

Here's the information you required.

 

  • Name: Simon / Rosalind
  • Contact Number: The Call Centre 1800-6012051, should have my full contact record.
  • Email address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx the same one provided for Call Centre to email.
  • Machine Type Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2, 20027
  • Serial Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Case Number: 5068046, issued by Call Centre. 
  • The LCD screen was replaced by appointed authorized Repair Centre, MEGALINK located at Bukit Timah, Singapore. The Call Centre should have the reference number of the LCD job.
I will be in contact with Call Centre tomorrow reiterating my demand for a written statement......then take this matter to Consumer Protection if it's not resolved by end of this week.
