S10-3 F3607gw Mobile Broadband GPS Port (COM5) "Device Cannot Start (Code 10)"

2010-05-18, 10:39 AM

After installing Win7 Professional on my S10-3, the F3607gw Mobile Broadband GPS Port (COM5) is marked with a yellow exclamation sign in Device Manager stating: "Device Cannot Start (Code 10). This happens on a fresh installed Win7 Professional.

However if I reinstall my S10-3 from the recovery partition to Win7 Starter, all is fine and no yellow exclamation marks appear.

The same drivers and versions appear to be installed with Win7 Professional as with Win7 Starter.

Any ideas?

does the system that you ordered have 3g support?
( check your receipt or the box for specifications )
