I installed Windows 10 and the touchpad is not working and I tried to install two different drivers (one from Lenovo site and one from Synaptics) and when I try to install, they both say that the touchpad doesn't even exist. So it's not installing the driver and I'm having to use external mouse for now.
Is anyone else having this problem and what is a solution? Thank you.

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
Please download all the Lenovo Win 10 drivers from this site, starting with the Intel Chipset first:

I reinstall WINDOWS 10 and install all Intel drivers first, then the touchpad. Followed by the rest of the drivers. Mine has been working fine evr since.

I actually refresh my installation of WINDOWS10. I removed all files and Apps and started clean. Upon completion, I installed all Intel drivers first, then I installed the touchpad and then the remaining drivers, I believe there were 10 overall. Good luck.

After a full day of pulling my hair out with 5 of these laptops, I've got the answer.
After you've installed Windows 10, install the Storage/Serial I/O Driver from the main drivers page:
Thats it. As if my magic, the trackpad is now working perfectly.
Hope it saves you the frustration I went through.
