S510 ideapad My touch screen just quit working yesterday.

All of a sudden my touch screen quit working. I have windows 10 and have had it for several months. my device manager says driver working fine. What can I do to fix this. Cannot find new driver on lenovo software and downloads. Is this the problem even though it says it is working fine and no updates available.

Re: S510 ideapad My touch screen just quit working yesterday.

Hi Nancy,

Welcome to Lenovo Forums.

Please perform the below steps:

  1. Press Windows + X
  2. Select Device Manager.
  3. Find the Touch screen driver under Mice and Other Pointing Devices > USB Touchscreen Controller (A111).  You're going to uninstall this and check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device".
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Re-pen the Device Manager, and confirm that the Touchscreen is now listed under Human Interface Devices.

I hope the above information helps.
