Anybody please help - I just spent an hour calling Lenovo Customer Service. I bought a U110 in Sept 08. It is out of warranty. I need to BUY a replacement battery (the current one is dying). Customer Service tells me it is impossible? Does that make sense? This was an expensive laptop - am I supposed to toss it when the battery dies?
Any help is appreciated!

it is possible to buy new one, make sure technical things ( voltage, capacity, dimension ) matched.

thx - I was hoping to buy from the manufacturer (Lenovo) - I once bought a battery off ebay for my old Dell and it didn't last long at all. Ended up buying one from Dell that lasted as long as the original.
