I booted my U410 into Ubuntu, and checked the battery capacity. The designed capacity showed 46 Wh, instead of the 59 Wh on the hardware maintenance manual can anyone else confirm?

After much investigation and testing, our engineering teams concluded that the it appears the BIOS was giving an incorrect reading of the battery capacity. This has since been rectified with a BIOS update and only for systems with Win 7.

If at any point any customers which have the Win7 installed and is showing the incorrect reading of battery capacity please proceed to update the BIOS. The BIOS can be download from the below link.

Please read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION on how to proceed otherwise wrong steps may cause issues to you system such as not able to power on anymore.
