U430 IdeaPad Touchpad Two-Finger Tap

Hi there,

Just purchased a U430 IdeaPad and have a couple of questions re the touch pad:

1) Is it normal for the touchpad to not feel real tight, i.e., when you tap arouond it lightly, not enough for a full click, it feels kind of lose and you can hear a tapping or clicking sound?

2} Does the touchpad use a two-finger tap, not two-finger click?  I.e., just tap with two-fingers but not actually pressing all the way down for a full click. The full two-finger click does work.

Thanks.

Re: U430 IdeaPad Touchpad Two-Finger Tap

The answer to your question on the two finger tap is yes, it is supposed to work, but no, it is not working. I have submitted the same question myself, but see that you have gotten no response to yours, which is a little disheartening. Lenovo techs, are you listening?
