U530 - Keyboard and mouse not working after automatic disk scan and repair

2018-06-27, 17:42 PM

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad U530 running Windows 8.1. Turned it on this morning and it scanned and repaired the hard drive automatically for an hour. It loads up fine to the login screen but at that point my wireless mouse and touch pad don't work. The keyboard Function keys work for brightness and other options here but not any other key I can use to login. When I hit F2 on start up for the insydeH20 Setup utility screen the keyboard works fine. I do not have a second computer or other keyboards/mice to connect to it. Any ideas? Thank you for your time.
