Yeah, WTF Lenovo? This is such a shame for such a brand! I don't need those confusing advices, just give me the drivers man!

My U110 has remained in its box since january - upgraded to windows (via the LENOVO free upgrade deal) but the companion Disk does not work, and still no drivers for Win 7.  PLEASE help!

I installed Windows 7 64bit on my U110 and was able to find drivers for all of it's devices. I'll post up a list of which ones you need to get in a few minutes, after I boot back into Windows (running in Xubuntu 10.04 now, where every device in this laptop is supported out of the box).

Multi-card reader: http://driverzone.com/device.php?id=51441 (click download, then click the MMCR link on the next page)

 

Everything else (except some ACPI driver that you won't miss, which might be the EnergyCut driver but I could be wrong) should be auto-detected by Windows.
