Hello mate,

It's maybe because your laptop is not WWAN ready and you don't have a card reader.

What's your laptop model/type ?

probably your computer ( s10 or s10-3 i guess ) didn't come with wwan support.

as you can read in the manual, some models only.

As yigit said, S10 and S10-3 didn't come with wwan support. You'll see a sim card slot, but inserting SIM in it doesn't solve anything. That's because wwan is an option. If you want wwan, you have to purchase a mini-pci module for it to enable wwan support. It is because some users don't want wwan and including it will increase the price of laptop. So, they provided the SIM slot, but using this feature is optional. If you want it, you must buy a mini-pci wwan card for it. open the back door of the laptop, where you can access to the RAM module and hard disk. You'll see an empty mini-pci and two wires. This is where you must insert the wwan module. There are not a lot of choices for you for selecting a wwan card. you must select those ones which lenovo allowed them. I mean the mini-pci is locked in the bios and only some cards are allowed to be used in this pci. Google to find efficient models
