Re: can't recorgnize my modem

2017-02-03, 17:12 PM

I have a Lenovo laptop that was bought brand new. The problem i am having is that it does not recorgnize or accept any modem connectedcted to its USB except the modem is 4G specification.

Please is this a factory setting? How can I reset or resolve this issue so that I can use my own modem which is not a 4G specification.

Thanks for helping!!!

Re:can't connect to wireless router

2021-03-21, 17:55 PM

My router shows up in the list, and it is set on automatic connections. About 1 out of 3 times it does not connect automatically, and when I try entering the access code and password, it comes back and says I can't connect to network. I have to unplug and re-plug the plug on the wireless router-modem and restart the computer after the modem reboots. It will then finally connect. I've checked all the settings, and everything looks fine to me. The modem is in the same room as the computer, so there should not be a low signal problems. I am using a DSL router because DSL is all I can get at my location. Does anyone have any suggestions that would permanently fix the problem?
