lenovo s510p touch screen not woking after windows 10 update

My laptop was originally loaded with windows 8.  I updated to windows 8.1.   Had the touch screen feature until  I updated my laptop to windows 10 in august.  I have noticed some issues but the one i am most concerned about is the loss of the touch screen function.  Has anyone had a similar problem.  I see from the Lenovo website that the S510p  can support the upgrade.  Is some driver missing?  when I check device manager human interface device HID compliant touch screen it says it is working correctly and enabled.  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.  I cannot undo the upgrade since 30 days have aleady passed.

Thanks

Hi Huser,

Welcome to Lenovo Forums.

You can also refer to this thread which is similar to your query.

This issue might occur if the touch screen driver is corrupt.

Try updating the video drivers & reboot. Please CLICK HERE for drivers. You could also use the System Restore feature to get your computer back the time when it worked.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Shashi Kumar

Is there a solution to this issue yet? I have tried the same things and nothing is working. I am back to Windows 8.1 with no touchscreen and when I call Lenovo they tell me I have to pay for repair now. SMH
