zoom in zoom out!!

hi im not sure how to explain it or describe it.. but let me try it anyway!

does anyone here experience that your background view is zooming and zooming out by itself..

I check all the setting  but its seems ok but  its crazy everyday if u encounter it every minute ..

So wat i did is just be patient and just press ctrl + watever it is to make it in a normal window view..

so my issue is wat is really goin on!  Not only its zooming by itself but it freezes virus  (check I even change my virus scanner and removal) , It still new .. i just got last 2 month and not too much activity goin either.. just email and chat  and shopping ..Smiley Happy  lenovo S10e netbook ...

Re: zoom in zoom out!!

Not sure about your symptoms.

But if the text size zooms in and out for no apparent reason

while you are on the internet, try this.

Click on Mouse in the Control Panel.

Click on the "Device Settings" tab.

Click on the "Settings" button.

Go to "Advanced Gestures" and disable all three features.

I have an S10, BTW, with an older Synaptics driver setup.

Yours may be different.

You can try turning off all the Synaptics features if you like.

You can even uninstall the Synaptics drivers and your

computer will operate fine with the standard Windows mouse drivers.

Re: zoom in zoom out!!

Yes, exact same problem with my S10e.  Random zoom-in constantly.  And the screen freezes frequently.  I tried to follow the solution directions: Control Panel/Mouse/Display Settings.  I get that far - then when I click on Settings, I get a file that is a menu help file - no buttons or settings to change, no option for Advanced Gestures.

I'm not technically proficient - but I do love this little netbook - except for these annoying problems.

I earlier had another problem where something would open just because the cursor was hovering on it.  I was able to find a setting to resolve that - but have not had any luck with fixing the zoom-in and the freeze problems.

Re: zoom in zoom out!!

Seems like a different problem with the freezing, etc.

Your Synaptics software may be corrupt.

I'd just try uninstalling it.

Go to the Control Panel and click on "Programs and Features".

Find and uninstall "Synaptics".

If your problem is fixed,

Try reinstalling Synaptics, and then follow the info in the first posting to fix the zooming text  problem.

To reinstall, I think you will find the Synaptics stuff in the "Drivers" folder on your "D" drive.

You can also find it at Lenovo's website and Synaptic's website.
