Re: Error during installation of Lenovo XClarity Integrator 7.4 on SCOM server

1.If the LXCI and SQL server are in the same domain or not?
2.Check the firewall setting if it allow tcp/ip access of 192.168.50.13 and the port.
3.If these properties in LXCI configruration file are empty?
C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\LXCI\UUS\global.conf
SQLSERVERDBNAME
SQLSERVERUSERNAME
SQLSERVERPASSWORD
SQLSERVERPORT
SQLSERVERNAME
4.If the settings of LXCI DB and user are like follows
RUVLD5SOMM01LXCIDB->database properties->restrict access->multi_user
RUVLD5SOMM01LXCIDB->database properties->permissions->>RUVLD5SOMM01LXCI->connect:grant
RUVLD5SOMM01LXCIDB->Security->logins->RUVLD5SOMM01LXCI
server roles->public
securables->connect SQL:grant
status->permission to connect to database engine:grant
status->login:enable
SQL server->databases->Security->user->RUVLD5SOMM01LXCI->property->membership:db_owner

Re: Error during installation of Lenovo XClarity Integrator 7.4 on SCOM server

Thanks, Jerry-Z, your answer helped me a lot!

The problem was in C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\LXCI\UUS\global.conf file, I didn't manually deleted it after first unsuccessful install.

Now, after deleting the folder UUS, the installer worked fine, and LXCI is working now.

Thanks to all for your help!
