My touch screen not working. It intermittently works but in most occasions it is not responding.

Sorry to read about the troubles that you're having with your laptop's touchscreen. I'd like to know if there are any recent changes that has been made to your laptop prior experiencing this issue such as installation of new software or updates?
Kindly perform a power drain first by following the steps below:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Unplug the computer from the wall socket.
3. Remove all connected peripherals (mouse, speaker, webcam etc.)
4. If the battery is removable, remove the battery and hold the Power button down for 15 seconds.
5. If the battery is non-removable, while the computer is ON, hold the power button down and wait for the computer to shut down and still hold the power button down for another 15 seconds.
6. Turn the computer ON and check.
Also, please make sure that your system has the latest BIOS and driver updates via Lenovo Vantage app. In addition, check if there are any pending Windows Updates that needs to be installed.
If same issue, manually install the latest display driver from our support website and here's the link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-c740-15iml/81td/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Display%20and%20Video%20Graphics&id=635380F4-448F-4129-AA77-265289D96F6F.
Lastly, boot your laptop in safe mode then observe if the machine will exhibit the same problem.

I appreciate your cooperation for performing the steps that I previously shared. This time, kindly consider performing a full factory image via DDRS. Please take note that doing this step will wipe out all data/files that you have on this device, so ensure to back them up first on a separate location in order to avoid data loss.
