Unstable Wifi Connection.

Greetings from Ethiopia! I have reproduced the below from a review by another similar laptop owner published a year ago (in 2021) on Reddit , since I noted the same problem persisting and it seems the company took no corrective measures despite bad reviews from multiple users.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro has a very unstable Wi-Fi connection.

I have been using my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro 14IHU5 laptop for a while now, which I bought in India in Dec 2022. The Wi-Fi connection is just terrible. It disconnects almost every 5 minutes, and this happens in multiple locations (it is not just my home router). I never had this issue with other brands. When it disconnects, it is just my laptop that acts up; all the other devices are still connected. I tested this on multiple locations with multiple devices.

I have already tried the solutions proposed on their website, but none of them seemed to work. In some old videos,  I saw people rolling back to an older driver, but I don't think that's possible for this laptop.

It is not possible to even some support from instructions uploaded on YouTube by the company to fix the problem since the laptop does not open YouTube Videos in the first place.

There is no way I can return the laptop since I cannot return to India from where I bought the laptop.

The company should recall this product. Without proper internet service, it is simply an 1868 typewriter, not a computer. For more product review, please follow this link:https://www.reddit.com/r/Lenovo/comments/qlsf84/lenovo_yoga_slim_7_pro_very_unstable_wifi/

Re:Unstable Wifi Connection.

Hi @Abiyu01.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Our apologies for the troubles that you are having with the Wi-Fi connection.

Please make sure that your system has the latest BIOS and driver updates using Lenovo Vantage app. Here's a link that contains a short clip on how to do it.

In addition, check if there are any pending Windows Updates (including optional updates) that needs to be installed. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > click on Check for updates then restart your machine afterwards.

You may also apply the steps provided in this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/et/en/solutions/ht502846-frequent-drops-or-intermittent-wireless-connection-windows-7-8-10.
