I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 720 12IKB, but I sae it still kept its battery light turned on even after fully charged. I worry how if it would be overcharged and eventually ruin my battery.
When using my previous Lenovo ideapad 100S, the battery light automatically got turned off after fully charged.
So does my Yoga 720 12IKB have a battery-overcharging protection circuit built in ? Can I always feel safe for its charging ??

Welcome to the Community Forums.
For a Yoga 720 12IKB, battery have a power chip that prevvents over charging the battery.
As noted here on the hardware manual page 22:
" Battery charging does not start until the Power Meter shows that less than 95% of the total power remains; under this condition the battery pack can charge to 100% of its capacity. This protects the battery pack from being overcharged or from having a shortened life."
Hope this helps answer your query.
