I've noticed several members Miracasting to various devices successfully w/920. However, I only noticed richk's excellent article mention his 920 had an Intel wi-fi card. I have the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61X4a.
Have any of you been successful using Miracast with the Qualcomm wi-fi card?
I'm using the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter in a Sony Bravia XBR55X900E. Connecting is no problem. I have also cast directly to the Sony without the MS Display Adapter with no problem.
The problem I'm having is once connected, I keep getting "refreshed strips", going from left to right, across my TV screen. My drivers, Bios, Microsoft Display adapter & Sony TV, everything is up to date. My Surface 3 performs perfectly Miracasting the same way for Netflix. Also my Sony shows Netflix via its Android Smart TV.
Any ideas appreciated. Thank you.

These first 2 photos show my TV with one screen and PC with the next Weather screen app that has not been sent to the PC yet. This was done thru the "Connect" function of Quick Actions.
The next photos are using the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and connected via the "Project" Quick Action.
I've tried both "Connect" & "Project" to pair my PC with TV. Seems like I always get connected & never lose the connection unless I manually request to disconnect. However, cannot seem to quicly progress from PC screens to TV screen. Also get random horizontal lines. My gut tells me that Yoga 920 has Miracast support, but Qualcomm WI-FI card has problems. No one has conformed to me that Qualcomm has Miracast working successfully using Yoga 920. Richk confirmed the Intel WI-FI card works ok.
Appreciate your concern, yigit.

I got exactly the same problem on my Yoga 920, with both Intel Graphics UHD 620 Driver versions 184.108.40.20673 (from Lenovo site) and 220.127.116.1123 (from Intel site). Atheros driver version: 18.104.22.1687 (Microsoft updated)
