Arrow keys do not work in moving cells in MS Excel

Hi mates,

So I just got my Lenovo Pro 3 and right on I start my daily work: Working with Excel (I have MS Office 2013)

The thing is: The arrow keys do not help me move from one cell to the next. None of the 4 works. Instead, when I press any of these keys, it moves the entire screen to the chosen direction. This is not what I have experiecned in any other laptop.

Is there anyway I can fix this? Thanks for your advice.

Re: Arrow keys do not work in moving cells in MS Excel

Hi,

I do not know why anyone never responded to you but to help the other users, I will list the steps. The issue is that your scroll lock is on.

If You Do Not See Scroll Lock on Your Lenovo Keyboard

  1. Click the Windows Button
  2. Type "On-Screen Keyboard" and click on it
  3. Once the On-Screen Keyboard appears, the scroll lock is probably selected. Click it to de-select it.
  4. Go to Excel and click the arrow keys and you should now be able to move between cells

If you see the scroll lock on your keyboard, just press on the key once and that should fix it.

I hope this helps you and the future users of this community.
