Audio card not installed - help

Hi,

So we've had issues with the Realtek audio card, we've done reinstalls of the drivers, but now the computer is stating we do not even have an audio card so it won't install any drivers for one. How do we get the computer to recognize that we have the card??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Audio card not installed - help

Hi Claire1000,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Is this just recent maybe after a Windows update?

You can try uninstalling the  “Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller” from the device manager placing a check on the box to fully delete when you right click on the device.

You may use this article for reference on the step.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
