What a saga!
I pushed a few buttons and magically I was transported back to Win 8.1. Auto-rotate and rotate lock now all good again.
Following the instructions from Lenovo (on the link I mentioned earlier) I removed most of the Lenovo apps.
I then once more installed Win 10 - it downloaded the whole lot again, all 2.6Gig!
No rotate lock now, but with faith I installed every Lenovo driver and app that I could find.
Ooooops! Still no rotate lock. Back to phone support.
Control panel/Display/Change display settings: Here I could check the "Allow screen to auto-rotate" box.
So screen now auto-rotates, but no rotate lock available.
I experimented a bit and found that when screen rotated to portrait mode, rotate lock was enabled (software switches AND switch on side of computer now all worked). Put screen back in normal landscape orientation and rotate lock no longer worked.
Lenovo help person checked with his "experts" who say that this "very small" problem/glitch probably needs a small patch from Microsoft. (I would have thought from Lenovo but apparently not?)

I now have working auto rotation and the keyboard and touchpad are getting disabled if I switch to tent or tablet mode. Windows 10 even asks me if I want to switch to tablet mode
here is what worked for me:

Is this for a Yoga 11? What is "ITE sensor firmware update"? I don't see that the downloads for the Yoga 11.
Edit: Never mind, I see that is for a Yoga 3 11.

OK, I bit the bullet and did a clean WinTen install from scratch. Installed Paper Display (working), Companion, Solution Center and Harmonyso gfar, all seem to be working. Rotate buttons working, but no actual autorotate...
The ITE firmware update, where did you get that? I found this one:
For the Twist S230U...is that the one you applied? Really hoping I can get this sorted, going to flip Harmony into 8.1 compat mode and see what that does in the meantime.
