Bamboo Ink Stylus not Pairing with Yoga 720

2018-12-10, 0:06 AM

Whenever I try to connect my stylus with my Yoga 720 13", I always get told to "try again". I've tried updating my Bluetooth driver and Wacom Pen driver, and none of that worked. Any advice will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi hegerber,

Welcome to the community forums.

Are you experiencing the same issue connecting other Bluetooth devices? Have you tried connecting other stylus pen? Were you able to connect it properly? We suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Bluetooth and Wacom pen driver and try again to pair the pen. Let us know how it goes.

All other bluetooth devices (speakers, earbuds) work completely fine, except for the stylus. I don't have other stylus pens to try with.

I've reinstalled Wacom pen drivers and downloaded the newest Bluetooth drivers. Still not working.

Hi! Remove the stylus pen on the bluetooth devices list and pair it again. If the issue persists, do the same step to all bluetooth devices and pair the stylus pen first.

Open Settings.
Click Devices.
The settings for devices appear.
Click the device type you want to remove (Connected Devices, Bluetooth, or Printers & Scanners).
The list of devices appears.
Click the device that you want to remove to select it.
Click Remove Device.
Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove this device.
Close Settings.

I found this on Microsoft's Forum: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/bamboo-stylus-wont-pair-to-bluetooth-on-new-lenovo/9d0dbed3-1285-4eb8-b684-0f05dcd2f155

Apparently 103 other people also have the same problem too, with the Lenovo 720. Please help us out.
