The battery level of my Yoga 500 15IBD drops suddenly from 10% to 0 and the laptop shut down.
Does this indicate the battery needs replacement?
When the calibration is started, there is no indication of progress.
How do I know when the calibration is completed and how long will it take to complete?

It will never get back and Lenovo can not fix it. This is a programming bug in One Key Optimizer. Have the same problem - none of their recommendations works. Official service in Russia offers to purchase new battery + pay for the service + wait 2-3 weeks without computer.

Can I get it back to normal by simply uninstalling the Onekey Optimizer?
I have just calibrated the battery, will the calibration transfer the bug to the battery？

I tried to uninstall OKO, did not help. what i remeber - after i pushed calibrate button, it said that the process will take 256 hours and i should not switch off computer. this is the only hope left. very disappointed with Lenovo products. my computer had no problem and now have to send it to the service, wait and pay.
did you try to reset Windows? i saw this recommendation somewhere on the forum, but this action will clean up all data, so everything should be backed prior to reset

The issue was solved, the laptop behaved as set in the Power Option, notifications appeared at “low” and “reserved” battery level, and shut down at critical battery level.
The test was done after the following procedures have been carried out:
