Battery life conservation practice

Just bought a 920 yoga and have a more general question on battery conservation practice:

Do I "bypass" my battery when it is 100% charged and keep my PC pluged ? Is this practice of

keeping the device pluged while the battery is fully charged "bad", "good" or "neutral" for battery life?

Thank you.

Re: Battery life conservation practice

Mainly neutral.  While you can't damage the battery by keeping it plugged in, you can deteroriate the battery capacity if the laptop remains very warm, since overheating is a battery's worst enemy.

If possible, unplug when you're not using it; but if you want a constant charge, it's fine to keep it plugged in, just make sure you're not taxing it to the point that it's overheating.

Also, on the Yoga 900 and 910, Lenovo has some battery settings under the Companion app app that you can toggle.  It also gives you some info on battery health that might be useful.
