Re:Bluetooth Mouse Lag / Stutter on Lenovo Yoga 7i 14"

Just to mention that, I installed Windows 11 and the latest intel bluetooth drivers and the issue seems resolved. I still have some touchpad sensitive problem, I always have to put the "Palm Check" in 1.

I can confirm that the latest Intel Bluetooth driver (version 22.60.0) solves this problem. This is from the release note: "Description of Key Issue: On some systems with multiple Bluetooth devices (e.g. mouse, keyboard, headset) being connected simultaneously, a connected LE device rarely may not reconnect after some time being idle."

So it seems Intel was already aware of this bug and now they finally fixes it. So guys, update your driver and you should be fine.

I still have the problem with the lag/stutter bluetooth mouse on my Yoga 7i 14 after applying the Intel 22.6 driver.

I did not have the problem on a Microsoft Surface laptop. Same mouse.

What gives Lenovo?

Well, I take back what I said. With Bluetooth driver version 22.60.0, the problem is significantly less it's still there.

OK, as others still have the problem, so do I.

The Lenovo Vantage application automatically installed an Intel Bluetooth driver update 22.40.0.2 on 06/05/21. No sign of 22.60.0.

I have a ThinkPad X1 G6 Yoga i7. with a Lenovo Yoga mouse.

The mouse worked fine on my previous ThinkPad Yoga 460.

I am also having the same issue.

I nearly went an purchased a new mouse until I tested it with my MX Master 3

Mouse in question Logitech - MX Anywhere2, then MX master 3

Both have a lag from initial movement. Its like it goes to a deep sleep, but its still awake. so where you left it moves. Its very very bad, so bad I through it was the mouse and was about to replace the $100 mouse.

Now I'm here I can see its actually the laptop.

I have since tried to also install the Logitech software and still has the same issue.

This issue seems to affect Bluetooth mice in general. This needs a fix to my Yoga 7i 14' (i7)

To avoid confusion, in addition to the above, Windows Update installed an Intel Bluetooth driver update 22.50.0.4 on 03/06/2021. And this is the current level on my machine.

** Update**

I've noticed that its not that its "lagging" its actually disconnecting.

This is now noticeable on my

MX anywhere 2, Master 3, and headset Jabra Talk 30

The Bluetooth is very bad as its now affecting work talking and online videos.

This needs a fix asap

Well actually there is a fix for this in this wery thread.

But its still a big issue and i'd suspect we only see a few of the people, having these problems, in this forum.

@Voithos I know this issue is closed as solved, but its quite obvious its a lot of trouble for your customers.
We also found that this is issue isnt restricted to lenovo products and is in fact a bug in intels drivers, but I would suggest you considered applying this fix to a patch in your support assistant.  At least as an optional update.

Lenovo may not be the cause of this, but most people wont know that..  They'll just think bad about your product and support.
