I have Lenova Yoga 3 pro lap top , os window 10, 64 bit.
Recently I noticed touch pad not functioning. I used system restore as well as window update reversal many times and finally
the issue of touch pad was resolved.
But my C drive storage has gone up to 125 GB from 65 Gb. I have done disk clean up, system restore resetting etc, still could not recover this space. Space sniffer says "unknown (not scanned) 60 Gb". I have also noticed using C cleaner that lot of files of same details under others, viz C:$extend\$RmMetadata|$Txq. see image.

Hi Samram ,
To safely proceed keep a back up of your documents on a separate storage media like and external harddrive.
Ensure yourself you have all user accounts , password , serial keys for applications if needed to be re typed in again.
Run security check with your antivirus program ensure no malicious program running on the background.
Initially start with clean boot and enable essential services that you think is needed .
What I usually do to clean up non essential data is removing prefetch files, appdata and temp files.
Send other document file on a different location like external drives or online storage like onedrive.
Such steps would free most space on your drive and if you need more spaces , you can set your external drive as storage location.
Hope this help answer your query.
