C930 problems with tablet mode and rotation

I tried literally everything from here https://windowsreport.com/rotation-lock-grayed-windows-10/

 

My laptop is brand new, I've been using it for two week, tablet mode does not work, the rotation is not responsive anymore, once I turn the laptop over the keyboard still clicks, I don't know what else to do.

 

It's either solution by the support or I'm returning this unit.

 

I can't explain how frustrating it is to leave macOS to get into trouble with one of the main functionality of the system in the very first two weeks of usage.

You state that the roatation is "not responsive anymore" which suggests that it was working at some point. Correct?

Correct, it was working until two days ago. Yesterday I noticed something was different while using it in able mode, once I noticed that the keyboard was not deactivating while in tablet I came to the forum.

 

No new installation on the machine, as I mentioned I went through all steps losing a lot of time attempting to reset the machine without success on having it fixed.

And all of the appropriate services are running? YMC, YogaPLService, Sensor Monitoring, Sensor Data, Sensor Service, etc?

YMC running and automatic

YogaPLService I couldn't find this one in Services

Sensor Monitoring running and automatic

Sensor Data was not running I clicked to start and it's on manual

Sensor Service running and manual

 

Also, rotation lock is "greyed out"

I had YMC disabled before, this keeps the rotation lock available but nothing else really changes. I noticed now with YMC enabled that when I turn into the tablet the keyboard stops as expected but when I turn it into PC mode again the keyboard doesn't answer and I have to restart the machine.

I purchased the C930 last night about 9pm and by the time I get up this morning I am having the same problem, autorotate lock grayed out. If I swith to tablet mode and back the keybord will not work when I return to laptop mode without PC restart..... very disapointing. If I can't get it solved soon its back to the store with you.

Hello,

I am having the same problem, rotation is greyed out and I cannot change it -

I just receive my new YOGA c930 two days ago and it is not rotating.

Any tips please let me know.

I have the same problem. I tried new drivers, update bios and win recovery.

 

It doesn't work.

 

Sometimes keyboard and touchpad is No responding.

 

Even the lenovo support can't resolve it. 

 

I am very regret that I chose a piece of expensise rubbish.
