Im just got my new C940 and while just casually using it i noticed that the Alt tab function has been very slow, takes a second or to to switch wndows almost as if it pausing then switching. I use this function quite frequently so this has been really annoying. Iv looked online and the only solution iv found is to turn focus assist off which i have done but still getting the same problem. Also nobody else that has a C940 has this problem. Anybody know any solutions to this?

Yes, it happens even with only 2 windows open. The only thing i noticed about RAM and CPU usage is that even when im ony using google chrome it uses 40-50% memory, sometimes even higher.

No, I haven't found anything that fixes it.
Other problems are being discussed in another post here - 'small issues' - so maybe take a look there?
Stuff like the keyboard repeate rate not saving.
I'm sure there needs to be a BIOS update to fix stuff like this

I recently bought a Lenovo ideapad s540 15 inch, I also had the same problem and apparently I could fix it. I've been the last two days without that slow problem when doing the alt + tab shortcut.
All I did was go to the Lenovo Vantage application, go to the preference setting section and disable usage statistics. After this, I continued with my normal workflow and when restarting the laptop the problem was solved.
I don't know why deactivating this option has solved the problem, nor am I 100% sure if it works for you, although I hope so.
