Charging Questions for Yoga 11

2013-11-15, 5:23 AM

I love my yoga, but I'm traveling alot and I was wondering if it was possible to charge through the usb port, this is common on most laptops and tablets. It would be 12 volts from usb car charger or back up battery like used for tablets and phones. There's a external rechargable battery, usually can plug directly to usb, and extend your run time by hours. The plug for the yoga has me wondering if its no possible, have to use a inverter and go directly on pc battery.

Any help would be appreciated.

Another question is there a wattage rating for ac power for plug. Im looking at cig lighter inverters there all over the place with wattage. For example there shouldnt be any problem with a 130 watt recepticle for yoga plug. they are inverting dc to ac and at 120 volts. didnt know if power would be a issue.
