Charging Yoga 920 during eGPU use

Hi guys! I recently bought Akitio Node Thunderbolt 3 eGPU. I use it with 1050 to card.

But there is an issue with charging laptop.

My Yoga 920 has two USB C port. You can charge it through both of them.

When I connect eGPU, it supplies my Yoga with power. But this power is weak to charge laptop during games.

I tried to connect regular charger to second port. But there were no changes after that.

Does Yoga disables port for charging if one is already charging laptop?

What should I do to charge my laptop with enough power?

Re: Charging Yoga 920 during eGPU use

Hi chimZuk! Welcome to the community forums!

How do you normally set up the AKiTiO Node Thunderbolt 3 eGPU to your Yoga 920? Could you try to plug in first the charger before the eGPU and check if the issue remains? You might want to check this YouTube videos that might help you in setting up your AKiTiO Node Thunderbolt 3 eGPU with the Yoga 920 as a reference. Let us know how it goes.
