Chiral scrolling on Yoga 900 possible?

IS there any way to get chiral scrolling on the Yoga 900?  I am using the Synaptics driver 19.0.17.3 dated 8/25/2015.  Is there a way to do a registry tweak to get this on the Yoga?  I am "addicted" to it, and it could be a deal-breaker.

Thanks.

No I hadn't--for some reason it did not show up in a search. I won't have time to try this out for a little while, but THANK YOU.

I will report my success when it happens.

Re: Chiral scrolling on Yoga 900 possible?

Unfortunately, the driver on the Yoga does not sem to have the relevant lines mentioned in the reddit post, i.e.,  4OneFEdgeScrollChiralInfoText and 4OneFEdgeScrollChiralCheckBox, or any variant thereof.  The post also mentions another older Synaptics driver, but when I used it after uninstalling the current one, I could not get the Synaptics icon in the taskbar, or any other way to change the settings.

If anyone else has succeeded in getting chiral scrolling, or has any suggestions that I can try, please let me know.

Thanks for sending me that reference, though.  I appreciate it.

Re: Chiral scrolling on Yoga 900 possible?

You can get to the Synaptics settings through the Mouse control panel applet even without the icon in the taskbar.

Re: Chiral scrolling on Yoga 900 possible?

Affter reading your post, ColoneOneill, I reinstalled the older Synaptics Controdriver, and tried to access the settings through Control Panel > Mouse.  It first gave me an error message saying that it was unable to connect to the  Synaptics Pointing Device, and suggesting that I uninstall the driver.  I ignored it, at which time it opened Mouse Properties, with Buttons, Pointer, Pointer Options and Hardware tabs.  However, despite clicking on every option in the Hardware tabs, I could not get to any place where I could set things like two-finger tapping or scrolling, or chiral scrolling, or any other options.

I've left it as the driver for now, in case anyone can suggest how I can get to the settings.

Thanks.

Re: Chiral scrolling on Yoga 900 possible?

Just a quick check: Did you reboot after installing the older driver?

Which OS are you running?
