Does ANYone have Yoga 2 11 Haswell with M.2 "M" Keyed SSD connector?

2015-08-05, 21:10 PM

Gang I am just wondering if I got a bizarre special order Yoga 2 11 or a rarity otherwise.  My model, a Haswell i5 silver Yoga 2 11, had its prior drive removed for security purposes.  The connector in its only drive bay is a so-called 'single notch' M.2 spec SATA M-Key adapter.  it appears to be 'factory', mounted securely and professionally on the SSD tray/bay/sled - up to 80mm length.  I called Lenvo Tech Support, gave serial, and asked them what drive they originally shipped with it.  As best I can determine, the samsung drive they called out [part 16200609] is not a single but double notch "M+B" M.2 drive.  so something is amiss.

if you have one like mine, what drive is in it?  they are very very rare and difficult to verify
