Does Yoga have BIOS extention for configuring Intel AMT?

2013-04-25, 9:24 AM

It seems that the QS77 chipset has the firmware and drivers to allow configuration of Intel AMT.  Does the BIOS have an extension to allow for configuration pre-boot?  I've seen it mentioned where in some cases ctrl-p is used, while on other notebooks F1 is used during POST to access configuration.  Anyone know?

hi floepie,

 Welcome to Lenovo Community!

I've tried checking on the Specification on the Yoga 13 and 11, but both does not support the Intel AMT(Active Management Tool)

You can find Yoga's tech sheet here http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/itbook.pdf and Lenovo AMT Supported Models here http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/7vr308ww.txt

In case you might  want to change something in the BIOS

For Yoga 13 Just press the One key recovery button near the Power button and that should give the options to boot into system utility.

Hope this helps.
