Its a top of the line laptop, and I want it for Android Development.
Has it been superseded for something else? HyperV is of no use.
Hyper V is removed from the system,
Virtualization has been enabled in the bios.

Thanks, but I don't want HyperV. I want the Intel VT so I can run Genymotion, an Android emulator.
I have that already turned on in the Bios.

Is Hyper-V enabled on your machine? Hyper-V will hide VT status from other virtual hosts. If it is enabled - disable it.
