Does the Lenovo Yoga 520 (80X800B2HV) support pen compatibility?

I just bought one of these laptops and the support called me, and said that the Yoga 520 (80X800B2HV) does NOT support pen touch because it does not have a pen... (?) I've checked every forum posts about this device and I've not ever read that a Lenovo Yoga 520 14" does not support pen touch. What do do you think?

Does it support support pens or not?

The Wacom Bamboo Ink compatibility list does not say any specifications about the 520 14", so it could work with every yoga 520 14" device, right?

Thank you for your help!

Re: Does the Lenovo Yoga 520 (80X800B2HV) support pen compatibility?

Hi Ariiom,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

The pen are optional accessories for the Yoga 520 as discussed here and here that should support Active Electrostatic (AES) digitizer technology for Yoga 520-14IKB. This includes the same technology that wacom bamboo ink pen uses.

I would rather ask you to try a spare active pen to test first from your colleagues as this would also give you the feel of which pen offer you the comfort of your hand strokes.
