Fan Buzzing - Yoga 3 Pro 1370

A consistent, loud buzzing sound is coming from the fan of my computer. It's quite loud and can only be alleviated by either turning the computer off or rotating it 90 degrees to the left. Any ideas on how to address this issue? I had this same problem about a month ago but it seemed to resolve itself until starting again a week ago.

Re: Fan Buzzing - Yoga 3 Pro 1370

Is it still under warranty?  It sounds likethere may be dirt or lint in the fan, or the bearing may be wearing out.  To check, you need to remove the bottom cover. (10 T5 torx screws)

Re: Fan Buzzing - Yoga 3 Pro 1370

There are quite a few Yoga owners who have reported similar issues, and some have found that a sticker affixed to to fan blades can come loose, and cause a buzzing noise.    If it is still under warranty, I would send it in to have if fixed by Lenovo support if you dare, but if not, removing the back cover will expose the fan for cleaning and inspection.
