Purchased a micro HDMI to standard HDMI cable for my new Yoga 3 Pro. After trying it on two monitors (Panasonic and Vizio), my Yoga sees the resolution of my external monitors in "Display Properties" but no matter what I do, I can't get the monitors to display anything at all.
Tried resetting the resolution of the Yoga, tried rebooting with cable attached/not attached. Can't get a picture at all. Tried "extend" screen and "duplicate" screen. Nada.
I planned to do a big slide show presentation tomorrow for Thanksgiving, so any help would be appreciated.

Did you try to only use the external monitor ?
[ Windows key ] + [ P ]
choose external monitor/projector only

Hi Magglio, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!
I haven't seen any indication that that is a problem with the Yoga 3 Pro. I've been using a Monoprice micro-HDMI to HDMI cable.
Hoping to hear back from the photodb...

Heard from someone else that the Insignia cable from Best Buy was the problem, so I returned it today. Ordered a Monoprice cable from Amazon so we'll see when that arrives Friday.

Is this forum not supervised. This post is marked as solved but if anyone takes the time to read it it is not. Sounds like a major problem for connecting Lenovo to external monitor but not taken seriously
