How to update graphic driver of my Yoga C930?

2020-03-26, 2:34 AM

I've tried to install the latest driver downloaded from Intel website

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29465/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?v=t

However, when I tried to install it, it showed that the driver couldn't be verified and I should contact the original manufacturer.

The drive on Lenovo website haven't been updated yet.

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/tw/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-c930-13ikb/81c4/81c4cto1ww/pf1gcpyp/downloads/driver-list/

so my question is how to update the graphic driver on Yoga C930? Any help would be appreciated.

Best,

You need to first switch the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver to get around the OEM check.

  • Right-click Start and select Device Manager
  • Left-click to expand the Display Adapters section
  • Right-click on your "Intel UHD Graphics" adapter and select Update driver
  • Select Browse my computer for driver software
  • Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
  • Select Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, click Next and follow the prompts

The installer for the latest driver from Intel should now complete successfully.

It worked like a charm! Thanks a lot! I wonder why Lenovo wouldn't put newer graphic driver on their support website. Best, lunchoxwu

After installation do I re-install the "Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620" ?

Or just update the "Basic Display Adaptor" and leave it?
