IdeaPad Yoga 13 - Motion Control in Standby, Application Not Supported

2014-02-09, 15:16 PM

My system crashed earlier today and after getting it back up and running the touch screen function was not working.

I tried F6, first, which activates or deactivates the touch screen. When it's off, I can only use the mouse pad, and when it's on, I can use nothing (no touchscreen or mouse....usually I can use both.)  I found the motion control button in the start bar and saw that it was disabled. I clicked "enable" and it now says, "Application Not Supported - Motion Control in Standby".

I have searched the forum and haven't found any suggested fixes and I didn't see any applicable driver updates on the driver and download page.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? I miss my touch screen! ;)
