I had to open up an Ideapad Yoga 13 today to replace the power connector. When I did, I looked at the battery. The battery looked unusual in that it had a type in the printed caution. The last sentance is "keep out of reach of chilfren.". A few things seemed unusual.
1) The rest of the caution was spelled correctly. No typos anywhere else, just in the word "children".
2) The "k" in keep was lowercase. All the other sentances start with a capital letter in the first word.
3) I couldn't find a Lenovo label on the battery.
I'm suspicious that the battery is not the original. Has anyone else seen a legtimate Lenovo battery with any of the above?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Yep, that definitely sounds like it is a fake/different battery, the unit should be sporting something along the lines of this:
Are you able to send us an image of the battery that you can see?
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
