Hey guys so suddenly last week, I woke up my computer right before studying for an exam and I get this blue recovery screen. I can't seem to find any solutions, and Lenovo wants me to pay 99 dollars for their help.
I literally haven't done anything else on the computer before this happened (maybe downloaded some PDFs or whatever but I haven't done any system level changes on it).
I tried one key but it doesn't work.
I was thinking of just choosing the "reset to setup mode" or "restore factory keys" but I'm not entirely sure what these guys do. What do they do? Also, any other suggestions?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
This means that the data required to boot up the system is deleted or more likely corrupted.
This is usually resolved by restoring the unit from an installation media/recovery disc.
Have a read of the following, this should of help:
The factory reset will basically erase your data on the unit and reset everything back to the way the unit was at the time of purchase.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
Did someone help you today? Thank them with a Kudo!
