I've looked through lots of threads on this but can't seem to find the answer to a basic question...
How much space should I actually have available for my own stuff after doing the hotfix?
I did the disk partition hotfix and I have 100gb available now on my C drive, but only 66gb of that is actually available for me to use. I have 40 gb of music and 26 gb free. The rest is mostly taken up by Windows etc. I thought the hotfix would give me 100gb of actual available space but this isn't the case. Is this right?
Thanks a lot,

of the 128 GB , you lose rought 2gb to efi/boot/system partitions... then depending on the amount of ram (lets say 4gb) you loose about 4-8GB for intel rapid start, and about another 9GB for the recovery partition.. so that is about 15-20 ish GB

Thanks for the reply.
And it seems like Windows takes up 20 gb plus assorted program files etc, so the 66gb I'm getting now is normal? Or should I be getting 100gb of actual free space?
