Re: Ideapad Yoga hard disk allocation

I think (and I could be wrong) that the first recovery partition (1000MB) and EFI partition are used by windows and cannot be deleted.

You can delete the 12GB recovery partition if you make a recovery drive on an external drive. Hit the windows key, type "recovery" and one of the optiions is "Create a recovery drive." Follow the directions to copy the contents of that revcovery partition to an external drive, and once complete it will give you the option to delete the partition.

I found that the 30GB Lenovo partition was being used by windows for the page file, but once I moved the Windows page file to my main partition I could delete it and expand the main partition.

Good luck!

HELP !  I ran tha hotfix in the following link.

http://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/DS033035

At the conclusion of the run, the program deleted my D drive (of 24.9 GB) and left me only with a 63.5GB C drive.  Thus, out of a 128 GB drive, I only have 50%.

Please help !!!!!

I need help running the hotfix.

I deleted one partition but didn't change anything else. I think if I can create a volume that matches original factory setting, the hot-fix will run. Anyone have the number for the 5th partition after D?sc.png

Thanks
