Re: Ideapad yoga 11s wifi constantly dropping out after windows upgrade
Hello! I've searched the posts but not found a working answer so apologies if I've overlooked it somewhere...
I upgraded to Windows 10 Home, version 1803 a few days ago and have been having problems with the wifi ever since. It will connect for a few minutes and then stop loading. When I run the trouble shooter it comes up with 'The default gateway is not available' as a fix and then will work for another few minutes before breaking again.
It is an Ideapad Yoga 11S and has a Realtek RTL8723A Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter.
I have looked around online and tried the following to no avail:
- Switching to Realtek RTL8723AU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter (Mircosoft) and Realtek RTL8723AU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.), and updating and rolling back all versions to try different version.
- Turned off 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' on the drivers
- Turned the power management to high performance for drivers
- Added a password to stop auto sign in when turning on
- Redownloaded the driver from the Lenovo website to make sure it is up to date.
If anyone has any ideas that can help it'd be much appreciated!
