LENOVO YOGA 710 WITH WHITE SCREEN (FLASHS)

MY NOTEBOOK IS YOGA 710, 15 "SCREEN, INTEL 620 VIDEO CARD.

HE IS WITH THE PROBLEM BELOW, THERE IS ABOUT 10 DAYS, I CAN NOT RESOLVE.

THE SCREEN IS FLASHING INTERMITTENTLY, WHEN FLASHING IS WHITE WITH STRIPES. IT IS GETTING WORSE.  I REINSTALLED THE WINDOWS,  UPDATED THE DRIVES, EVEN SO THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. NOTHING HAPPENED DIFFERENT FROM THE APPLIANCE. FROM ONE HOUR TO THE OTHER HAS STARTED THIS PROBLEM WHICH HARMS HIS OWN USE. THE APPLIANCE IS STILL IN GUARANTEE.

BUT LIKE I DID LIVE IN BRAZIL, LENOVO DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE GUARANTEE. I WAS BOUGHT WITH THE BEST BUY IN SEPTEMBER 2017.

SOMEBODY HAS HAD A PROBLEM SO, CAN YOU HELP ME? IT IS LIKE A FLASH THAT IS RETURNING, SOMETIMES IT IS WHITE AND IT TAKES MORE TIME TO COME BACK. THANKS VERY MUCH.

If you`ve reinstalled the OS and drivers, then this will indicate a hardware fault.

 

Why did Lenovo Brazil refuse the warranty repair for the unit?

Hi. I bought this unit at Best Buy NY, I got the purchase NF in September 2017. I see that this handset has worldwide warranty. I bought it for my use and already brought it from the United States to Brazil using it.

I contacted Lenovo Brasil, and they told me that they will only give me a guarantee if I show them besides the invoice, an import document, this document I did not do when I arrived in Brazil.

for that reason do not want to give me the guarantee.

I suppose that is something they would require.

 

Unfortunately then, the only choice you have really is to get it repaired at a third party repair shop, or to have it repaired in the US.

Well, that is interesting because I had the same problem, I sent it in for repair and it came back with the same problem.

Have you had a repair report back from the repair?

They should`ve sent one back with the unit, then again, I may be wrong here as that is in the US so processed may differ from here.

 

It would be best to get back in touch with the Lenovo support and see if they can confirm if there was something replaced in the unit or not, and if so, what was actually repaired.

They said they replaced the LCD

Yeah in that case get back in touch with the support line, let them know that the repair failed, and they should be able to repair it once again, and will exchange another part.

This is highly ineffective in my opinion... I posted about my personal experience in the forms. This is not been a pleasent experience, especially considering this is the first Lenovo I have ever purchased.

Well there isn`t much we can do on the forums here, besides the few Lenovo employees, there rest of the forums is made up of people willing to donate their time to others.

 

If you really want to get somewhere with the failed repair, then your best choice is to get back in touch with support as a complaint here will not make much of a difference, and I`m sure that US line has their own complaint procedure as well.
