Let's try a few simple things.

First, download and install Lenovo Vantage from the Windows Store and use it to update everything.. drivers, BIOS, all of it. Reboot and attempt an overnight charging, again.

Second, eleminate a bad AC adapter.  Easiest way to do this is to haul the thing down to, say, Best Buy and get them to connect it to one of their display adapters.

If it's still stuck at around 14% and reading "plugged in, not charging," then the easiest solution with such a new computer is to exchange it.

So I have not seen this on here but this should fix your issues with Lenovo's not charging. I have a Yoga 720 and 730 and it works on both.

Right Click on the start icon at the bottom left of the screen.

Go to Device Manager

Click on Battery to open options below it.

Right Click on AC adapter and Uninstall - This will automatically be reinstalled after last step

Right Click on ACPI and uninstall- This will also be reinstalled.

Shut down the computer....Not a restart but shut down

Pull out ac power adapter

Restart and plug back in.

This should fix the problem. THe AC adapter and ACPI are automatically reinstalled upon restart.
