LENOVO YOGA 900-13ISK2 - External Monitor not detected via USB-C

Good afternoon,

Since this morning and the latest windows 10 update (update Version 1607), my external monitor (LG - Flatron w2220P) is not recognized anymore. It was working just fine until now : i use a simple usb-c 3.1 to VGA adaptator.

Until now I tried the following solutions : I tried to go back to the previous windows update. Did not work. Then I updated the drivers for the graphic chip, the usb buses. Did not work. I just downgraded the drivers with the pack I found on Lenovo yoga 900 page. But it does not seem to work neither.

Can someone help ?

Hi Dimitrirey,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

Do you by any chance have another adapter you could try so we can rule that out as being the cause?

No I don't have another one. Nontheless two days before, everthing was working just fine.

This morning when I retried, Windows was trying to install a new device, but the process was not sucessuful and stayed blocked.

Re: LENOVO YOGA 900-13ISK2 - External Monitor not detected via USB-C

Dear Ryan,

So I finally ruled our the adaptator and screen question as I had the occasion to test two different ones with 2 different screens. I'm still stuck and I'm thinking that is more hardware issue than anything else...

Can Lenovo waranty help ?
