Lenova Yoga 700 11ISK - 80QE - Display driver stopped responding and recovered

2016-04-24, 6:59 AM

i bought a new lenova yoga 700 laptop and i see the annoying popup.

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

Display drive Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered "

I checked the display adapter driver and its uptodate with version 20.19.15.4300.

Any help to fix this?

  1. Go to device manager by typing "device manager" in search.
  2. Expand the "Display Adapters" tab.
  3. Under it you'll find "Intel HD Graphics", right click on it and select uninstall. (Do not check the "delete the driver software for this device).
  4. Your screen will turn off and back on, that is normal.
  5. Click on "Action" which is on the top of the window, just beside the "File" menu.
  6. Click on "Scan for hardware changes" and then wait for a minute.
  7. The problem should be fixed.

Yes, on top of that, try to install the video driver: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/Yoga-Series/yoga-700-11isk/downloads/DS105065
